The project is composed of 3 distinct apartment buildings (96 dwellings), a crèche and 3 houses, all linked to an underground carpark. This typology allows views from both Rue de la Célidée and Rue Schols to the inner courtyard, designed as a communal garden and recreational zone for the future inhabitants. Stepping the building heights allows views of the city skyline from the dwellings on the 4th floor and upwards and creates on the corner building, the tallest of the three, a slender profile. A variety of apartment typologies is proposed, all of which enjoy uninterrupted views of the city, despite the density and the proximity of neighboring buildings. The vast majority of them enjoy either a terrace or a balcony. The proposed materials are natural stone cladding for the ground floor, with brick and plaster on the upper levels. The window frames and balustrades are in powdercoated aluminium. The interior facades in the well-oriented garden are faced in plaster to provide maximum luminosity.
