AXA 2017 transforms three office buildings into AXA BELGIUM’s headquarters, blending heritage and modernity through bold design, with collaborative spaces and a dynamic architectural structure.

AXA 2017 envisions the transformation of three office buildings into the future headquarters of AXA BELGIUM. The central block (Régent I) will be completely demolished and rebuilt, while the two other buildings (Régent II & Trône) will undergo transformation and renovation. The historic elements of the oldest building will be carefully restored. The bold architectural language of this new urban complex will convey dynamism and transparency, highlighting a dialogue between heritage and modernity. An anodized aluminum exo-structure enveloping the new volumes unfolds in a variable geometric pattern, creating effects of density and rhythmic variation. A large central collaborative restaurant/workspace, the Forum, connected to an open-air patio, an atrium, and two elevated gardens, will generate an internal dynamic, uniting the three major volumes into a cohesive whole.
