Built in 1974, the building stands as an imposing block, 22 meters deep, where the rigidity of its structure severely restricts the flow of light and air. Initially designed to house offices, this monolith presents a significant challenge for residential use due to the excessive depth of its plan. The solution lies in the introduction of a "fault" that divides the building, establishing a new relationship between the interior and the exterior. This architectural gesture creates a structuring void, an essential opening that enhances ventilation, light penetration, and circulation. In this way, the workspace is transformed into a living space, preserving the building's original qualities while reinventing them to adapt to the contemporary demands of urban planning.
