This project involves the transformation of an office building on the streets surrounding Place du Châtelain in Ixelles into 54 residential units. It includes 78 parking spaces and two interconnected buildings, united by an inner garden, combining modern design with urban sustainability and enhancing the neighborhood’s vitality.
The project involves a major transformation of an office building located on the streets surrounding Place du Châtelain in Ixelles, aiming to meet the growing demand for housing in this vibrant area while preserving the essence of the neighborhood. The goal is to create 54 modern residential units with bright, functional living spaces, while completely renovating the building to meet contemporary standards of comfort and sustainability. Additionally, 78 parking spaces will be incorporated into the project, ensuring better management of urban space.
The project is organized around two distinct buildings, each facing a different street, which allows for a harmonious dialogue with the surrounding urban fabric while preserving the privacy of the residents. These two buildings are connected by an inner garden, a true green oasis at the heart of the urban block. Designed as a space for relaxation and community, the garden provides a calming contrast to the lively streets nearby, creating a serene and pleasant living environment.

The architecture of the project places a particular emphasis on integrating the new volumes into the existing landscape, while modernizing the building's exterior to offer a contemporary style that respects the history of the neighborhood. The use of high-quality materials, combined with innovative technical solutions, ensures not only the building's durability but also its energy efficiency, in line with current environmental standards.
In sum, this project represents an ambitious response to current urban challenges, blending respect for heritage, architectural quality, and the well-being of residents, while contributing to the revitalization of this sought-after area of Ixelles.
