Yasmina Assbane exhibits a series of ‘mural handkerchiefs’ with floral motifs with varied colouring. Lined with threads or lifelines including depictions of everyday objects, these handkerchiefs are dedicated to life, death and the memory of Brussels’ women in a cosmopolitan and multicultural spirit.
