This project of apartment buildings is located in a highly symbolic site at one of the gateways of the local authority area of Woluwé-Saint-Lambert. The district accommodates functions as different as a shopping centre, a residential area, a schools complex, and a park-and-ride car park. The appeal and the importance of this quarter for the urban development of this area of Brussels led to the dilapidated sheds housing the cultural activities of the Ateliers du Temps Libre, being replaced by a housing complex neighbouring the cultural village Wolubilis , to guarantee the right mix of functions that any quarter of a city needs if it is to develop and remain lively at any time of day. The layout of the surroundings of the building, which follows the natural relief of the site, offers not only private and shared green open space, but entrance pathways that are accessible to people of all ages, as well as persons with reduced mobility. La Résidence “Les marquises” meets all the modern lifestyle aspirations. The 6 adjacent buildings contain a total of 81 apartments (1,2,3 bedrooms, 3-bedroom duplex apartments and penthouses), each with a large, favourably-oriented terrace. The apartments offer varied layouts and optimum daylight.  They have all been finished to a very high level. This new apartment building was built behind the new WOLUBILIS cultural centre, a short distance from the Woluwé Shopping Center and the metro. It offers the residents many facilities in terms of accessibility, services, leisure and mobility (metro).
